Tool instructions and troubleshooting guidance are written to match the behavior visible in the product. We distinguish direct measurements from estimates and avoid presenting a browser check as a professional certification.
Technical claims are based on documented web-platform behavior, direct testing, and clearly stated browser or operating-system constraints. Product and platform names are used only to explain compatibility.
Privacy claims
We do not describe a test as local or private unless its implementation supports that claim. Tests that make a network request—such as latency and speed checks—say so on the page and in the privacy policy.
Updates and corrections
Pages are updated when tool behavior, browser support, or important limitations change. Meaningful correction reports can be sent to hello@ratedtechtools.com with enough detail to reproduce the issue.
