Is my test data uploaded?
No. This test runs locally in your browser. RatedTechTools does not receive or store the device data shown by the tool.
Is the level a calibrated decibel reading?
No. It is a relative digital signal level, useful for comparing silence, normal speech, and clipping—not acoustic dB SPL.
How long can I record?
The built-in test stops automatically after 20 seconds to keep the tool lightweight and local.
